This was great, Joe. Les Mis, in all its forms, has long been my favorite story, even before I became a believer - though I couldn’t articulate why until afterwards. In solidarity, as a 29yo man I will also admit to having shed many tears during the scenes of the Bishop’s forgiveness and “who am I?”

Cheers

Cool story - a few years ago it was announced Les Mis would make a stop in Dallas on their off-Broadway tour, so my wife and I bought tickets a year in advance to see it right before Christmas, we were so excited for it all year because she hadn’t seen it before. We got to the venue and went to our seats, then another couple walked up and showed us their tickets for the same seats - turned out our tickets had been resold twice, so StubHub automatically gave us the best available seats in the house as recompense, 3rd row in the middle! Felt like a very gracious gift and wink from the Lord and is one of our best memories together.

Thank you for that solidarity Grey! It really is such a moving story. And I probably undersold the music a bit, because Schönberg's work in it is masterful.
